We are celebrating our 92nd year helping to beautify the city of McKinney. McKinney is truly Unique by Nature! In addition to promoting an interest in gardens and gardening, we are dedicated to educating our community on the design and management of gardens, supporting beautification projects and environmental concerns as well as sponsoring plantings and park benches. In the past we have provided several scholarships to college-bound students who are majoring in horticulture, landscape design, environmental management, forestry, botany, city planning etc. In 2019, the McKinney Garden Club donated over $22,000 to various non-profit organizations and two scholarships.
The McKinney Garden Club meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month from September through May.
The time for our meetings is 10:00 a.m. – 12 Noon. The meeting place is at the Heard-Craig House located at 205 W. Hunt Street in McKinney.
Call Gayle Pond, President of the Club, at 858-205-4061 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org for information on special events or if you need more information about the Club and how to join.
Our meetings begin promptly at 10:00AM with an introduction of our program for the month. A short business meeting follows the program and then a pre-ordered optional lunch, provided by Hugs Café. Guests are Welcome!
